 Long time no blog... Okay, an update...Not sure how many of you know, but there was a fleeting visit home at the end of April. I had booked the time off for a tour of Turkey for Anzac Day but decided on the 20 hour flight home instead. Had a lovely two weeks catching up with the family and a few friends but didn't really get a chance to contact everyone which was a little disappointing. Flew back on 7 May and straight back to work...I can't believe I've been here nearly a year now...summer is starting to peak through the clouds which is nice. I'm hoping to build up the savings again so that I can get serious about some tripping around. Lou, Tash and I are going to Brighton next weekend so hopefully the nice weather holds out...still trying to decide what to do for my birthday (the villa in Portugal was a good idea, but far too expensive)...might just do a week around Portugal anyway and maybe meet up with people on the weekend of my birthday. Better get going and meet up with Tash...heading up to Camden Markets now then maybe a museum and a park? Don't really know but if you've been watching the test match at Lord's, you'll know that it's far too nice a day to be inside! Goodbye from sunny (yes it does actually happen) London!
