 the credit card just took a battering... I just paid for my ticket to Athens (via Bankok and Vienna) and my travel insurance for the next year...six weeks to go now and still no tenant!!!

21 and a half days of work left... and 44 and a half days before I plan to fly out...the countdown has begun!!! got a call from the property manager friday saying that she's almost got someone signed up to rent my unit...took a car load of stuff to my folks on the weekend so my house is starting to look pretty bare! will probably move in with Trace and clean my house out this weekend!

just found out I'm going to have another person to visit in England!!! well, I'm going to be there before Baby H arrives... got an email from Claire Bear saying that they got the house they were looking at and they're expecting their first bub in late September!!! I'm so excited...my holiday just keeps getting better!

Party, party, party!!! I've booked the Rivervale Hotel for my going away party on 25 April - I'm so psyched! packed the trailer full of tv cabinet, dressing table, mirror and bookcase last night. I've also packed up most of my clothes and started sorting out the rest of the house - it's starting to become more real!!!

It's done...it's official...I told the boss!!! finally plucked up the courage today to let the boss know that I was leaving...kind of had to seeing as I was ringing around to get quotes for a venue to have a going away party!!! looks like it's going to be the on April 25th - Anzac Day - the day I was going to be on Anzac Cove! dead tired today because the property manager rang me at 3pm yesterday to say that she wanted to show a prospective tenant through my unit at 4:45pm today!!! three hours of non-stop cleaning and I feel like I hardly scratched the surface. hopefully they fall in love with the spa (like I did) and decide that they just have to rent it!

so many things have happened in the last month and a half!!! my UK work visa has been approved, my Turkey tour has been cancelled, I've decided on going to Greece for three weeks, Marieke is coming home for her dad's wedding so won't be joining me in Greece, I've finally finished painting my house after 3 years, my air conditioner is fixed, the real estate agent expects my house to rent for $170pw...all I have to do now is buy my pack and travel stuff, pack up the rest of my house and find somewhere to bunk for about a month!!! I can't believe it's over a year since I got back from Bali! only two more months to wait now...I was intending to leave on the 1st of May but it might be a week later depending on a certain 21st birthday party!!!
